The Valley Sturgeon proudly represent the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, with players hailing from Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Mission. The team was originally established in 2016 as the Valley Rebels, and has since steadily risen to prominence, becoming a formidable force in Junior B2 Lacrosse in the Lower Mainland.
In 2023, we opted to move away from the Rebels moniker and create a team name and logo that better reflected our players and the area we represent. So began the Valley Sturgeon, ushering in a renewed wave of excitement for the sport in our region. This transformation has energized our community, drawing enthusiastic crowds, former players, and aspiring athletes to our games. The Valley Sturgeon aim to embody the spirit of our local culture, bringing passion and pride to every match we play.
